Leading Edge 2004
The Working Biosphere
March 3-5, 2004 – Quality Parkway Convention Centre – St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada
Leading Edge 2004: The Working Biosphere brought together almost 200 participants and provided a forum for exchange of ideas.
Of the conference's many highlights were the more than 40 paper presentations that took place on the Thursday, as well as the poster displays that were showcased at the Opening Reception.
The paper and poster presentations explored three interrelated themes:
- Communities in action;
- Scientific research, environmental monitoring and conservation projects; and,
- Demonstrations of sustainable development.
The success of the presenters is illustrated in these proceedings as their research, findings, discussions and conclusions are included here in papers for future use.
The papers are organized by session. Select a session on the navigation bar to the left. Once the session opens, click a title to view the paper and/or abstract in Abode PDF. The PDF file will open in another window.
