The Canadian Biosphere Reserves Association (CBRA) is a non-profit association that provides support and builds networking relationships to help develop and maintain biosphere reserves throughout Canada. Canadian Commission for UNESCO
The Commission is an arm's length consultative forum that advises the Canadian Government on its relations with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and coordinates its activities in Canada.
UNESCO’s Program on Man and the Biosphere (MAB) develops the basis for the sustainable use and conservation of biological diversity. The MAB Program has been encouraging the improvement of the relationship between people and their environment globally for more than 30 years.
