relationships to help develop and maintain biosphere reserves

Biosphere Reserves Associations Student Network (CBRASN)
Dedicated to building linkages between students
studying biosphere reserves and the Biosphere Reserve concept.
Formalized in 1999, the CBRASN supports the development of promising,
new environmental professionals. Students involved in CBRASN conduct
research that is in or relevant to Canadas growing network
of biosphere reserves.

The Commission is an arm's length consultative forum
that advises the Canadian Government on its relations with the
United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization
(UNESCO) and coordinates its activities in Canada.

UNESCOs Program on Man and the Biosphere (MAB)
develops the basis for the sustainable use and conservation of
biological diversity. The MAB Program has been encouraging the
improvement of the relationship between people and their environment
